Access to Work for Supported Employment
This half day workshop will look at the requirements of Access to Work, how it links with and compliments best Job Coaching Practice, and give practical advice and information oh how to apply for and use the funding. This short practical workshop will cover:
- What is Access to Work and its requirements
- What can you use it for
- How to ensure you are using good Job Coaching Practices
- The process
- What to put into the business case
- What is needed for the financial claims
- Monitoring for the Job Coaches.
The training will be delivered through structured presentations and discussions and when appropriate practical exercises.
The training is a half day course and participants are required to be there for the whole training workshop.
Who should attend?
The course is suitable for Job Coaches, People working within Project Search sites, Employers and professionals actively engaged in supporting people with disabilities into paid employment.
All participants must be committed to the whole half day workshop.
